The Pacific Union College Pioneers Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams host their Annual Pioneer Invitational.
The Pacific Union College Cross Country Teams start off their season by hosting the Annual Pioneer Invitiational. The race course starts in an open dirt meadow leading to dirt roads and trails with elevation change of 300 feet. This course is a nature preserve therefore the trails serve as a beautiful view for those who have the opportunity to view it.
First on the start line were the Women racing a total of 2.5 miles, which included runners from the California Pacific Conference: California State University Maritime Academy and Sierra Nevada College. First to cross the finish line for the Pioneers was newcomer Isabella Malan (JR/Sutter, CA) with a time of 20:53 awarding her fifth place overall.
