Women's Soccer Nab First Conference Win

The Lady Pioneers hosted Park-Gilbert University for their 3rd game of conference play with hopes of securing their first CALPAC win. The game kicked off at 3:30 pm with clear blue skies and moderate temperatures. 

This was a very close and physical game, with Olivia Jesse scoring in the 13th minute to give the Pioneers the lead early in the game. Throughout the match, both teams fought to score more, but the score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Pioneers. 

This great Pioneers performance rewarded the team with their first conference win of the season.

Bella Cervantes and Olivia Jesse both received red cards during the match. Cervantes finished with 3 shots on goal and Jesse scored her only shot on goal.

The Pioneers will host Cal-Maritime Academy for their 2nd game of conference and 2nd home game in a row, kickoff will be September 25th, 2022, at 3:30 pm.
