The Pioneers took a trip over to Arizona to kick off their conference season with a matchup against Embry Riddle University. It was around 80 degrees with clear blue skies, perfect for a day of soccer.
The Lady Pioneers were excited to start their conference after a long day of travel to Arizona. The match was very close and physical, but the Pioneers were unlucky in front of the goal. The Eagles were held to one goal in the first half, but unfortunately in the 2nd, the Pioneers allowed 4 more in the second half.
Jazmyn Bravo recorded 2 shots and Olivia Jesse recorded 2 shots on goal.
The Lady Pioneers will continue their conference play in Arizona against Benedictine-Mesa on Sunday, September 18th at 10 am.
