Pioneers Basketball Players Lead in Cal Pac
Several Pioneers athletes are being recognized by the Cal Pac in stats.
Olivia Crigler, junior shooting guard, is currently leading the Cal Pac Conference in scoring with an average of 20.4 points per game. Along with this, she is also ranked 16th in the nation for points per game, and 2nd in CalPac for 3-point percentage (45%). Olivia says, "I am very appreciative of my teammates and coaches for putting me in positions to be able to help the team. Their support and hard work have made it possible to help me grow my game." We are excited to watch Olivia succeed as their season begins to resume.
On the men's team, 6 of their players were recognized by Cal Pac. Jordan Lopez is ranked #1 in steals per game. Chris Jones is ranked #2 in free throw percentage and #8 in assists per game. Victor Wariso is ranked #3 in steals per game and #6 in points per game. Lastly, Jason Vasquez is ranked #4 for 3-point percentage. These are huge accomplishments for the men's team, and we can't wait for their season to pick back up.
