Imhotet Amen-Ra added to the Women's Basketball Coaching Staff

Angwin, Calif. - Head coach George Glover focusing on the defense end by adding to his coaching staff. Pacific Union College would like to welcome to the Lady Pioneer Women's Basketball staff Imhotet Amen-Ra.

Coach Imhotet will be the defensive coordinator and work with player development gaining influences from Dena Evans former owner of PGC Basketball. During his playing years Imhotet was a point guard at American River College and later went on to play 2 years of college basketball at Bethany University of Scotts Valley, Ca. During those summers Coach Imhotet also had the opportunity to work with the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs being on their scout team.

Once finished playing, Imhotet was given the opportunity to go on tour and play different teams around the Philippine Islands. Upon his return Imhotet went right into coaching for Bethany University Women's Basketball team. During his 2 years he was involved in practice planning, player development, defensive game plans, and recruiting.

In 2011, Coach Imhotet created a training service named Total Elite Training where he was given the opportunity of training talent from the Santa Cruz area where he has been instrumental in developing players who have received accolades ranging from League MVP's, California All State players, to Team USA National Team hopefuls and players through the professional ranks. Coach Glover said "I can not wait to have Coach Imhotet a part of the staff, being able to utilize his expertise in defensive sets and player development.
