In their third match of the weekend, the Pioneers took on the University of Saint Katherine Firebirds. Unfortunately for the Pioneers, they fell short, losing in 3 straight sets. Despite the disappointing outcome, the Pioneers played hard and there were several standout performances from individuals on the Pioneers' roster. JT Kuderca led the team with 10 kills, demonstrating his powerful and accurate hitting. Dakota Hrabowy also had a great night, recording 9 kills and 2 blocks. Justin Vital was also a key player for the Pioneers, recording an impressive 14 digs. Khalid Pal racked up 24 assists and 6 digs. Despite the team's best efforts, they weren't able to pull away with a win.
