Pacific Union College Pioneers Announce La Morenita Market as Official Sponsor of Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs

The Pacific Union College Pioneers are proud to announce that La Morenita Market has signed on as the official sponsor for both the men's and women's soccer programs for the 2026-27 season. The one-year partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter in Pioneer Athletics' commitment to building strong relationships with local businesses throughout the Napa Valley.

Daniel Morales, Assistant Athletic Director at Pacific Union College, shared his excitement about the new sponsorship and the vision behind it.

"In my second full year here, after getting a clearer sense of the direction of our department, I felt it was the right time to begin connecting our school more intentionally with local businesses in the Napa Valley," Morales said. "I've had the pleasure of working with Jerry (owner) and La Morenita Market in major projects in the past and it was a no-brainer to present them with this opportunity. They're a staple in the community, always supporting diversity, athletes and education — there was no one better to kick off our sponsorship venture with."

Under the agreement, La Morenita Market will serve as the official practice gear sponsor for both soccer programs, providing support that enhances the student-athlete experience while strengthening ties between Pioneer Athletics and the surrounding community.
