The Pioneers wrapped up their Arizona trip with a matchup against Benedictine-Mesa University on the scorching hot turf at Bell Park Sports Complex.
The Pioneers started off the game strong with a goal from Issay Bravo in the 36th minute, but with 2 minutes left in the first half, the Hawks scored to end the 1st half 1-1. The Hawks would come out stronger to score 4 more, ending the game 5-1 in favor of the Red Hawks.
Issay Bravo finished with 2 shots on goal and Gianluca Durso recorded 1 shot on goal.
The Pioneers will host Park-Gilbert on September 22nd for the 3rd game of conference action.
