Buzzer Beater for the Win

Men's Basketball downs Benedictine University in an Overtime Thriller.

ANGWIN, Calif. - Men's Basketball (9-15; 6-7 Cal Pac) defeated Benedictine University on Thursday Night in an Overtime Thriller that ended with a Buzzer-Beater Three by Junior Victor Wariso (JR/Sacramento, CA).

Four Pioneers clinched double figures in the 79-77 win.

Tim Ford (SR/Los Angeles, CA) picked up another double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Followed by Isaiah McCullough (JR/Chino Hills, CA) with 17 points and 7 rebounds.

As well, Joshua Mitchell (SR/South Bronx, NY) scored 14 points and Victor Wariso scored 13 points.

De'Rajaee Austin (SR/Vallejo, CA) also shelled out 6 assists in their victory.

With a special Senior Recognition Ceremony prior to Tip-Off, the Pioneers will host Embry-Riddle (AZ) on Saturday Night at 9:00 PM in the final game of the 2019-2020 Season.
