Brittany Brown, head women's volleyball coach and the Pioneers Athletic Department are happy to announce the signing of Sarah Cusick to the 2012-13 recruiting class. Cusick is a 5'10 outside hitter out of Will C. Wood High School in Vacaville, CA. Sarah was a multi-sport athlete (basketball and soccer) in high school, but will focus her attention on volleyball as she prepares to begin her collegiate degree.

The Pioneers men's basketball coach, Kirt Brower, is happy to announce the signing of Tevin Welcome to the 2012-13 recruiting class. Tevin, the 6'9 junior college transfer, will arrive at PUC this next fall from Ocklawaha, FL. Welcome attended Lake Weir High School and played an instrumental role in their run to the state championship tournament; the school's first trip after a 10-year absence.

Three Pioneers Athletics student-athletes have been named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Carla Bartlett was the lone representative from the women's basketball program. Joining Bartlett are two seniors from the men's basketball program, Michael Giang and Josh Jewett.
