SANTA CRUZ, Calif.- Still energized from their win the previous night, the Pioneers entered today's match with continued momentum. Having played three games in three days, the Pioneers secured their 13th win of the season, dominating UC Santa Cruz 75-48.
The Pioneers took the lead early on and never looked back. Leading by 12 points going in to the half, the Pioneers were able to more than double their lead by the time the clock ran out.
The points were spread out among the Pioneers with Leroy Anderson leading with 12 points, two steals, three assists, and seven rebounds. The Pioneers shot 83% from the free-throw line, 56% from range, and 48% from in the paint.
Ben Dorfman led for Santa Cruz with 11 points.
The Pioneers will rest up in preparation for the last three games of the regular season. They return to the court February 11th at 8:30 in a match up against Simpson University in Redding, California.
