ANGWIN, CA-- The Pioneers were looking to send their seniors off, in their last home game, with a win. Unfortunately, Menlo College had other plans and came away with win, 75-62. Senior Josh Jewett missed his fourth consecutive game with a mild concussion. Leading the way for the Pioneers was Marcus Carter with 13 points.

 
Women's Basketball - Sat, Feb 4, 2012

In what looked like a carbon copy of Thursday's loss to Holy Names, the Pioneers women's basketball team was unable to keep pace in the second half, eventually falling to Menlo College, 55-71. It was the Pioneers senior night, in which they honored Carla Bartlett, Lara Canders, and JoAnne Mauries, who played in their final home game. Their losing streak extends to 10 games, with three games remaining to put an end to that streak.

 
Men's Basketball - Thu, Feb 2, 2012

OAKLAND, CA-The Pioneers travelled to Oakland, CA, looking for a win against a Holy Names team that was sliding; they had lost three straight. Unfortunately, the Pioneers fell to Holy Names 62-47. This loss dropped the Pioneers to last place in the Cal-Pac standings. Senior forward and leading scorer Josh Jewett missed his third consecutive game with a mild concussion. The team is hopeful that he can play in the next game, which is senior night. Leading the way for the Pioneers in scoring was forward Marcus Carter with 16 points and 5 rebounds.
